sharing the meredith love
No, this is not a pr0n entry, so move along!
Meredith of Amanita.net doesn’t remember how she met me, but I remember exactly how I met her: I begged her for help in converting my LiveJournal archives to Movable Type a few years ago. I was trying to do it myself, but even though I followed her simple instructions, I did not succeed. She was kind enough to do it for me … not once, but twice, when I switched back to MT after going back to LJ a second time.
Yes, I am fickle when it comes to technology.
Although my initial entry into Meredith’s life was less than memorable, I have followed her site ever since. She dazzles me with her openness to the world — a trait I especially cherish in other people, because I endeavor to be that open — as well as her genuine enjoyment of her own life, even through hardship. Meredith is also a vortex of cool links; most of my recent bookmarks are a direct result of her posts. She seems to know a little about just about everything, and has a voracious appetite for learning more.
Meredith is fully engaged with the world around her. I love that she shines so brightly and cares so much. I always look forward to seeing what she will do next.
