sharing the MSG love

Even though he didn’t request a sharing of the love, I want to tell you all how much the MSG rocks my socks. This weekend, he:

  1. Went on many EQ2 adventures with me, including but not limited to getting the serious smackdown in Stormhold. We tried again and he survived by a handful of hit points. If you care naught for games like this, you’ll be yawning and rolling your eyes, but trust me: it was the super fantastic! He also spent ages with me killing baddies so I could complete my first armor quest.
  2. Listened to me vent about something and gave helpful advice and didn’t roll his eyes, not once, even though he’s heard about this from me before … a few times.
  3. Comforted me as I burst into tears about the sewing fiasco.
  4. Introduced me to the scary yet wonderful soup place in Chinatown.
  5. Made me tea while I was feeling ill on Saturday.
  6. Asked the nice people at Bluejay to make me a barbecue pork omelet even though it wasn’t a daily special just because I was craving it so. And they did it, because they, too, rock.
  7. Crafted a particularly exquisite meal of leftover chicken cooked in cream with morels, plus garlic and vermouth brussel sprouts, plus posole. And sent me home with leftovers.
  8. Refrained from ridiculing me (much) about my movie choice, “Made”, which was bad. Really bad. (Still not as bad as “The Deep End” no matter what he says.)

I had such a great weekend with him that even staying late at work tonight can’t bring me down. Next up: more love-sharing!
