(You know what&#039;s not beautiful? Electric accordions. A very bored-looking dude was playing one -- essentially an electric keyboard with a few buttons and no squeezebox -- at some Oktoberfest thing I went to last year in Lincoln Square, and it was so sad. Fortunately, the tuba player walked around the room inviting everyone to throw quarters into the gaping chasm of his beastly instrument [remind me *never* to go into porn-writing!], which alleviated the ignominiousness of it all.)</description>
