		<description>my mother&#039;s vet told her that she could give her cat pedialyte when the cat had diarrhea, in small doses - i think she used a needle-less syringe, and it seemed to help a lot. you may want to try that next time.</description>

		<description>Hi, David!  Thankfully, Zen&#039;s illness did not last longer than a few hours, or I would have taken her to the vet.  I think I will call my vet on Monday and ask about the Imodium/Pepto in case there is a next time.</description>

		<description>Ask your vet and do NOT take my word as gospel on this, since I have never done it with a cat.  But when my dogs have that problem, my vet has said it really is okay to give them a bit of Imodium or Pepto-bismol.  Use tablets, not liquid (I learned that one the hard way). </description>
