This has certainly given me something to ponder. I would miss the comments I receive on cygnoir.net. The nice ones, anyway. I wouldn't miss the comments on SFGate.com, though. (via @njudah)

Well…I think if you're trying to sell something, he's somewhat right. But if you're using your blog as a way to connect with people and/or build community, turning off comments is a little counterproductive.
