Teacher strikes nerve with ‘lazy whiners’ blog

So what is wrong with calling lazy, whining students out? This quote in particular hurt my heart:

“They get angry when you ask them to think or be creative,” Munroe said of her students in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday. “The students are not being held accountable.”

    Now that I see *how* she was calling students out — thanks to a Facebook friend who linked to the cached page at http://ow.ly/3YG6p — I think the teacher's actions are deplorable. She was venting fairly cruel ways about her students, which has no place in the ongoing discussion about how to motivate them.
