I am utterly sore in the best way. This morning I went running for the first time in a while, and the first time ever with the Ginge. She was very patient with me as I had to stop to walk several times. Running with a friend is an entirely different experience, and one I really enjoyed.

This afternoon, FunkyPlaid and I went to a giant garden centre. When we walked in, a women's choral ensemble was performing in the atrium. We ate in the café -- which had gluten-free bread for the toasties -- and then perused the gardening stuff. I got a little distracted when I saw the aquatics and pets section. They have starfish, live coral, dwarf rabbits … and the choral ensemble did a cover of "Holding Out for a Hero". It was just so much goodness. I wanted to stay forever.

We didn't even get to the butterfly farm next door.

Day 116 of Project 365: Daffy

Pictured: some Scottish people amidst the mass of daffodils. This country really knows how to do daffodils.

The sun was shining amidst big puffy clouds as we drove home while blasting the Eagles. Note to self: everything is manageable with a bit of exercise and socialisation.
