This semester, I promised myself I wasn’t going to forego everything else I enjoy doing in favour of homework.
So today, in addition to group-project-wrangling, I poked at my performance piece, went for a run, wrote six postcards, and read nearly half of The Art of Non-Conformity, a book I’ve been curious about for a while. Asking yourself “What’s the worst thing that can happen?” helps to put big decisions in perspective.
Today I am grateful for:

- My damned hot black-purple Lamy AL-Star with purple ink in it.
- A quick FaceTime interlude with my mom.
