Today our dear friend Helen was in town. After she treated us to a lovely lunch at Edinburgh Larder Bistro, she took us around to some of the places significant to her childhood. I took some photos but mostly listened to her amazing stories.
This is the ceiling of the Royal Bank of Scotland branch at 42 St Andrew Square. This historic building once housed the headquarters of the National Bank of Scotland. These stars also appear on the Royal Bank of Scotland’s one-pound note.
